Where does all our recycling go?

Scotland, Kent, Germany and Pakistan are just some of the places that your recycling can end up. The trade in recyclables is international but we do try and keep things local where we can. Each material has a different destination depending on markets and prices. We have listed below the most common routes that the materials we collect follow.

The journey starts when our drivers take everything we collect back to our warehouse in Rainham, Essex. There the trucks are offloaded and materials stored and bulked up before onward transport.
