Paper Round recycles food.
- We recycle raw or cooked food into compost.
- We supply kitchen caddies in various sizes. We recommend these outlined with biodegradable sacks.
- The caddy allows kitchen staff to easily collect food waste in food preparation and scrap clearing areas.
- Food awaitng collection is stored in our 120 litre lockable food waste bin. It is hygenic and rodent proof.
- We collect your 120 litre bin by exchanging it with a freshly washed one.
Food waste is taken to Countrystyle's large in-vessel composting system in Kent. Their facility is licensed to comply with Animal By-products Regulations and is therefore able to accept meat and all other food waste.
Over an 8 – 10 week period, all harmful bacteria are destroyed and a high quality compost is produced which is suitable for parks and gardens.
