On-site Shredding
If you require higher security levels and need your confidential materials shredded before they leave your premises, we have a solution for you. Our on-site shredding service, from the collection of confidential material to the hi-tech shredding process in our trucks, is designed to guarantee absolute security of your sensitive data. On-site shredding can be performed on an ad hoc or scheduled basis. Secure Paper's custom built mobile shredding vehicles visit your site, at a predetermined time and perform the destruction of your confidential waste there and then for your complete peace of mind.
Our vetted staff collect your confidential waste from anywhere in your premises and take it to the vehicle where it is weighed and shredded. Our shredding machine is fast and efficient, calibrated to cross shred approximately 2,500kgs of paper per hour – over 3 times faster than most of our competition. On completion of the service, a certificate of destruction is issued detailing the weight and details of the collection. The shredded waste is then compacted into the rear compartment of the vehicle, locked and transported to our depot where it is baled for recycling.
Our onsite shredding service is compliant with the new British Standard BS EN15713:2009 Secure Destruction of Confidential Material. This includes security levels, vetting of personnel (to BS 7858:2004), contracts with customers and recycling. All services provided have full auditable waste streams and conform to the Environmental Agency and Government Legislation including the Data Protection Act 1998.
