The Zoological Society of London (ZSL) have a new campaign to reduce the number of single-use plastic water bottles in London.

Palm trees stood tall leaning over the sea. While this sounds romantic and scenic, sadly it was overcast with a serious problem. Livingston beach was carpeted in plastic rubbish. It was home to mouldy bottles, discarded shoes, old sandy toothbrushes and much much more. Not only were these inanimate objects present but also colourful specs of broken down plastic particulates were mixed in with the sand.
