Today we launch our #ThrowawayCultureUnwrapped guide to celebrate the end of our recent campaign of the same name. Written to help transform the way you think about waste, we hope you enjoy reading it as much as we’ve enjoyed making it.

The UK Government defines waste as ‘“…any substance or object which the holder discards or intends or is required to discard…”.

In our guide we take you on a journey back to the origins of our consumerist culture; we ask you to rethink waste by embracing the new sharing economy; we challenge you to look at reducing the amount of waste you’re creating by working with food, plastics and paper in new ways; and we ask you to stop and think- is that waste you’re generating actually waste at all?

Paper Round fully supports the circular economy and we’re working hard to make sure the value from the waste we collect is captured by recycling our customers’ materials into high quality products.
